Feed Him to the Dogs
by Lee

See, this is why I like Ariel Sharon.

Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon said he would block any request by Palestinian officials to bury their iconic leader Yasser Arafat in Jerusalem, public radio reported.

“As long as I am in power, and I have no intention of leaving, he (Arafat) will not be buried in Jerusalem,” the premier reportedly told Israel’s weekly cabinet meeting in response to a question by Justice Minister Joseph Lapid.

Good for him.  Fuck that terrorist piece of subhuman filth.  I only hope that Arafat’s death is as painful as possible, and that he’s thrown in a gutter and fed to dogs, which is what he deserves.

Get Out Your Wallets
by Lee

In a last-ditch effort to prove his own relevance, and try to milk out of the Bush=Hitler crowd whatever filthy lucre they have left, Michael Moore is going wide.

Audiences will get another opportunity to view Michael Moore’s “Fahrenheit 9/11” on the eve of the elections when video-on-demand firm CinemaNow will make the controversial documentary available Monday via the Internet.

The 122 minute-long movie will be available at 8 p.m. EST for $9.95.

Additionally, EchoStar will make the movie available to its more than 10 million Dish Network satellite TV service subscribers, also for $9.95.

A Kerry presidency will be bad enough for the country.  Listening to Michael Moore spin it so that he was the catalyst that made is happen is going to be unbearable.

So, pay your ten bucks and download away.  Or, you could just do what millions of other people have done and steal it by downloading it off the internet.  Not that I would have the slightest idea how to do that, of course.

Cash for Killers
by Lee

Now that it looks like the Nobel Peace Prize-winning terrorist Arafat might be about to kick the bucket, the discussion has turned to who is going to control the billions that he’s been stealing from the people he purports to speak for.

As Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat waited for results of tests conducted on him by French doctors, his senior aides have resumed contact with Israel to revive the US-backed road map for peace.

Senior Palestinian and Israeli leaders held separate meetings yesterday to plan a path forward in Arafat’s absence. Palestinian officials have been convening a series of top meetings in recent days to show that their institutions continue to function, while Israeli officials scrambled to plan for the possibility that the West Bank and Gaza could erupt into chaos if Arafat dies.

At the same time sources close to the Palestinian leadership said a bitter fight had broken over who should control the ailing leader’s fortune estimated to be between $4.2 billion and $6.5 billion.

Sources said Arafat has written a will transferring control of his assets to members of his wife’s family. Some of his aides, including former Premier Mahmoud Abbas who has stepped in as interim leader, however, believe the fortune belongs to the “beit al-mal” (public treasury), and should be transferred to the Palestinian Authority. The controversy started last week when Suha, Arafat’s wife, asked Muhammad Rashid, Arafat’s confidant and adviser, to prepare a list of the ailing leader’s fortune. According to Palestinian sources Rashid has said he would furnish the list only to the Palestinian Authority.

Let’s split the difference and place Arafat’s worth at $5 billion.  According to Forbes, the following people have a lesser net worth than Arafat.

Financier and New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg
Fashion designer Luciano Benetton
Nike CEO Philip H Knight
Media mogul David Geffen
Businessman and former presidential candidate H. Ross Perot
Heir to the Wrigley’s gum fortune William Wrigley Jr

There are countless others, but you get the idea.  Arafat is worth more than the CEO of Nike?  What the hell has Arafat ever done, apart from kill Jews and condemn the Palestinian people to a life of misery?  Why aren’t the Palestinians rising up in the streets asking why the hell he isn’t sharing the wealth with the poor he allegedly cares about?

Come on, liberals.  Defend this man.  I’m dying to hear it.

Vote Early, and Often
by Lee

The Democrat plan to steal Florida for Kerry is coming along nicely.

Some 46,000 New Yorkers are registered to vote in both the city and Florida, a shocking finding that exposes both states to potential abuses that could alter the outcome of elections, a Daily News investigation shows.

Registering in two places is illegal in both states, but the massive snowbird scandal goes undetected because election officials don’t check rolls across state lines.

And how does this break down, party-wise?

Of the 46,000 registered in both states, 68% are Democrats, 12% are Republicans and 16% didn’t claim a party.

I’m shocked, shocked I say, to hear that we’re not hearing more about this massive level of voter fraud in the mainstream media.  If some yahoo throws dog poo on a Kerry/Edwards sign, well, that makes the front page.  But 30,000 Democrats voting illegally?  Nary a peep.

C. Mullah Burns

Iran just wants uranium for peaceful purposes, right?

Iran’s parliament unanimously approved the outline of a bill Sunday that would require the government to resume uranium enrichment, legislation likely to deepen an international dispute over Iran’s nuclear activities.

Separately, Iran’s top nuclear negotiator said there was a 50% chance of a nuclear compromise with European nations, though he ruled out an indefinite suspension of key enrichment activities.

Shouts of “Death to America!” rang out in the conservative-dominated parliament after lawmakers voted to advance the nation’s nuclear program, an issue of national pride that provides a rare point of agreement between conservatives and reformers.

Nothing says “peaceful energy creation uses” more than chants of Death to America.

Walter Crankcase
by Lee

Walter Crtonkine, the most trusted man in America, is officially a tinfoil hat-wearing lunatic.  Check out his interview with Larry King discussing the OBL tape from yesterday.

KING: OK, Walter. What do you make of this?

CRONKITE: Well, I make it out to be initially the reaction that it’s a threat to us, that unless we make peace with him, in a sense, we can expect further attacks. He did not say that precisely, but it sounds like that when he says…

KING: The warning.

CRONKITE: What we just heard. So now the question is basically right now, how will this affect the election? And I have a feeling that it could tilt the election a bit. In fact, I’m a little inclined to think that Karl Rove, the political manager at the White House, who is a very clever man, he probably set up bin Laden to this thing. The advantage to the Republican side is to get rid of, as a principal subject of the campaigns right now, get rid of the whole problem of the al Qaqaa explosive dump. Right now, that, the last couple of days, has, I think, upset the Republican campaign. [Emphasis added]

That’s right, gentle reader.  Karl Rove is working in concert with Osama bin Laden to swing the election in favor of George W. Bush.  You know, to a whole generation of Americans Cronkine was an icon.  I never really formed that attachment because I’m not part of that generation.  To me, he’s a tired old liberal asshat, and every time he opens his mouth he spouts his far-left idiocy.  Rove working with the world’s most wanted terrorist?  Jesus Christ, that’s the most asinine idea I’ve ever heard.

And notice how Larry King just lets it slip right by without so much as a follow-up.  As soon as he said this King should have said, “Whoa!  Hold the fuck up there for a second, Walter.  Are you seriously claiming that the Bush administration is collaborating with Osama bin Laden and his al Qaeda network to skew a presidential election?  Do you have a shred of evidence to support this claim?” But of course we don’t get that question, because that would be real journalism.

A Call from the CalGOP
by Lee

I just checked my messages from last night, and there was one from the California Republican Party, reminding me to vote Tuesday for George W. Bush.  I’ve never gotten a political phone call like this before.  I’ve never been called by a political polling company, either.  Any of you guys ever get called by one of them?

83 Weeks
by Lee

It’s another socialized medicine success!

An Edinburgh woman has been told she must wait 83 weeks for a routine hospital appointment, MSPs have heard.

Health minister Andy Kerr said he shared the frustration voiced by Liberal Democrat MSP Mike Pringle, who highlighted the patient’s case.

But he said improvements were under way in a bid to tackle ear, nose and throat waiting times in the capital.

If you like the service you get from the DMV, you’re going to love free government health care!

Weekend at Osama’s
by Lee

Our good friends over at al-Jism are planning on broadcasting an alleged video greeting card from a dead man.

Arab satellite television Al Jazeera said Friday it would broadcast a video tape from al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden (news - web sites) addressing the American people, four days before the U.S. presidential election.

It said the tape, to be aired at 4 p.m. EDT, would discuss the reasons behind the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks on the United States that killed nearly 3,000 people and their repercussions.

An editor at Al Jazeera said the Qatar-based channel had received the tape earlier Friday but did not say how. He said the tape was new but did not give any details.

I still think he is dead, and that this is going to turn out to be old footage of him cut into a new video, or a couple of his followers doing a Weekend at Bernie’s type thing.  But I could be wrong.

Update: I’m watching the newsfeed right now, and it looks legit to me.  I’ll be damned.

Update 2: From what I can tell so far the main thrust of bin Laden’s argument is that we will never be secure by fighting back, and that the best policy is to elect leaders that will completely ignore everything going on in the Middle East.  So, we should pull our al our troops, leave Israel flapping in the breeze, and let the region fall into theocratic anarchy.  In other words, we should implment the very plan that Michael Moore and the rest of the America-hating left have been calling on since 9/11.

Lok, we’re a long way past the day when we could trust terrorists not to attack us.  Are we really expected to base our national security on the word of OBL that they won’t attack us as long as we do what he says?  Fuck him, and fuck all his followers.  Kill them all.

Another One
by Lee

The Religion of Peace™ strikes again.

A Japanese civilian taken hostage in Iraq by militants has been killed, Kyodo News agency reported Saturday, citing a member of Japan’s ruling party. But national broadcaster NHK said the government was still trying to confirm the information.

Government officials could not be reached early Saturday to comment on the report.

Islamic militants threatened on Tuesday to behead hostage 24-year-old Shosei Koda within 48 hours unless Japan withdrew its troops from Iraq. Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi firmly rejected that demand, saying he would not give in to terrorists.

Kyodo said a body found near the city of Tikrit had been identified as Koda.

Once again the Minutemen and Revolutionaries™ fight back against their fascist Amerikkkan oppressors by killing innocent civilians.

This is pretty much what I’ve come to expect from the peace and love crowd.

Outside in a chilly mist, about 50 Kerry supporters lined one side of an intersection while 50 Bush supporters lined another. There were plenty of chants from the rival groups and some tense encounters.

Aaron Hoyord of Mosinee, a 9-year-old Republican, said a male Kerry supporter spit in his face as he and others walked by.

What is it about the left and their total lack of respect for just about anything?

Rooney Eats It
by Lee

Your ass is mine.

[Jeffrey] Jones, 58, was busted with some racy pics of the teen boy. The actor initially pleaded not guilty to the crime, but, facing a potential lengthy prison sentence, Jones copped a plea. He was sentenced to five years of probation and ordered to register as a sex offender and undergo counseling.

“This concludes a really painful chapter in my life. I’m sorry that this incident was allowed to occur. Such an event has never happened before, and it will never happen again,” he said after the sentencing.

Unfortunately for the actor, that “really painful chapter” hasn’t ended quite yet. In July, he was arrested in Florida after moving to the state and failing to register as a sex offender.

And this week he learned he must again face the sex rap as his accuser, now an adult at 19, filed a suit in Los Angeles Superior Court claiming Jones had touched his genitals and forced him to pose nude and touch himself for the camera when he was 14 years old.

According to Celebrity Justice, which first reported on the new lawsuit, Jones is also accused of giving the boy various costumes to wear, including cowboy, sailor and Indian outfits.

The accuser, whose name has not been revealed, is also suing for emotional distress, saying the incident affected his own sex life and left him severely depressed and suicidal.

Ed Rooney : So far this semester he has been buggered nine times.
Katie Bueller : Nine times?
Ed Rooney : Nine times.
Katie Bueller : I don’t remember him being buggered nine times.

Fucking celebrities.  “War is bad!  Bush = Hitler!  But, damn, if that isn’t one hell of a sexy teenage boy!”
