Can you tell they are lying scum?

No? Remember the donkeys telling us GWB’s government was in bed with the oil companies when gas prices was flirting with the high $3.00 a gallon amounts? Have a look at this video for a refresher and the reaction now that we are flirting with gas at $5.00 a gallon....

Let me repeat the question: where is the MSM on this now that prices are racing to $5.00 a gallon? Our economy is getting hammered by these gas prices, which combined with the devaluation of the dollar and the disastrous economic conditions the last 4 years of demcorat control of federal government spending, are causing massive inflation in basic necessities like food, and what’s the MSM saying? That high gas prices are AWESOME! Why? No, not because the Obama admin is in bed with the oil companies, which they sure as hell are if a price hike means that when Bush is president, but because it will force people to take the crappy, inefficient, and politically bullshit, green economy as something good?

What a bunch of scumbags these loser shillers in the MSM are.

The next time some libtard tells you that the corporate world is in bed with republicans…

Point out that the facts don’t back that lie up and that the big corporations know the party that will help them rake in the cash while giving them all those evil loopholes moonbats go bonkers over are the donkeys. Don’t expect the MSM regulars to say anything: they are usually too busy covering for the crooks in this administration, but the WSJ has the scoop.

General Electric Co. reported a 77% increase in first-quarter earnings, lifted by marked improvement at its GE Capital financing arm and gains at most of its industrial units. The company also boosted its quarterly dividend by a penny to 15 cents. The move marks GE’s third dividend increase in the past year, although the payout remains well short of GE’s 31-cent dividend from before the financial crisis and economic downturn.

“Our environment continues to improve and get better,” said Chairman and Chief Executive Jeff Immelt on a call with analysts, noting that the restructuring of GE Capital was ahead of plan while the quarter saw a record backlog of orders for its industrial products and services.

See that bolded section above? That’s corporate speak for “Them donkeys are helping rig the game so we can send jobs overseas, rake in big cash from both government subsides and sales, and avoid paying taxes in the US - which usually really means they avoid making their consumers pay taxes - while squashing anyone that could compete with us, and they do it for peanuts on the dollar”. Obama didn’t make Immelt a member of his Czar entourage for nothing. That billion dollars he wants to raise for the 2012 campaign is going to come from big unions and big corporations like GE, which love how the government helps them squash the competition - with the consumer losing out all the time - in return for cash. And GE isn’t the only one they do this for. They made the tax payers bail out the unions and turned General Motors into Government Motors for a reason. Now they want to sell off GM stock, at a big loss for the tax payers to boot. Maybe that move is so the GM execs can then start raking in big money and donate big money, right in time for the 2012 race, since when GM is no longer owned by the Obama Admin, it becomes free to hand out huge pay raises and bonuses to the GM execs again. I don’t buy the story that they are panic selling because it will be good for the tax payer.

The next time some moron tells you how the republicans are the party in bed with corporate America, remember and remind them that corporate America, those mega-billion dollar giant companies, are always friends with demcorats. That’s not a coincidence or a fluke, but precisely because those large corporations know, not just who is for sale and whom they can get to write laws that let them avoid taxes or competition, but that demcorats love the relationship between big government and big industry. It’s one of the mechanics behind the whole government planned economies bullshit you get in collectivists governments. Look how well it worked for the USSR.

Is it April first today?

That’s what I thought when I saw that WaPo’s “Outlook” section had an article today - April 18th, tax day 2011 - by Walter Mondale of all people, entitled ”How to Raise Taxes Without Losing Votes”. Walter Mondale? The moron that lost in a landslide to Ronald Reagan in 1984 after he got caught telling his VEEP on a mike they didn’t know was on how they were going to tax our asses off when they won? That Walter Mondale? He is giving advice on how to make taxes election year gold? My guess is that he is going to propose more class warfare rhetoric and meaningless platitudes despite his advice to donkeys to “In particular, avoid generalities, and clearly link taxes to addressing concrete national needs”, something I would love to see the left try after the fiscal discipline displayed by the demcorats over the first two years of the reign of Obama. That’s going to be a hoot.

But I had to laugh my ass off when Mondale tried to make the argument that he had lost the election but won the argument against Reagan, because Reagan was forced to raise taxes anyway. Well sure Walter, but ignore the fact that Reagan had to allow congress to raise taxes because when they saw that his tax cuts had spurred some massive economic growth and had set the economy on fire, raising government income drastically, they tripled if not outright quadrupled their spending, mostly on the expansion of the welfare state, leaving no other option but to hike taxes. And that’s where we are today. The left has known that despite the fact that almost 50% of Americans don’t pay taxes, taxation, no matter how it is sold by the marxists class warfare mongers, pisses those that work instead of just vote for a living, off.

But please Walter, carry on. And I so hope demcorats follow your advice. Tell the American people that you have promised the impossible and without confiscating most of, if not all our wealth, can’t deliver. Even in the short term. Because that’s the truth. Man, this one sure as hell was one funny April fools joke of an article.

Kloppenburg crashes & burns.

It’s official: Kloppenburg loses vs. Possner despite a nationwide mobilization by unionists and donkeys all the way up to the WH, Kloppenburg fails to steal the election. The move not to report a whole town and let the donkey hang themselves with jst enough cheater votes, whether preplanned or not, was brilliant. Sure there will be a recount, but as of now this is how it stands:

MADISON, WI – With the submission of the Milwaukee County canvass report, the Government Accountability Board has received the results of the Supreme Court election as certified by all 72 Wisconsin counties. The results as certified by each county indicate that David T. Prosser received 752,323 votes and Joanne F. Kloppenburg received 745,007 votes. Pursuant to law, the Board may not certify the official statewide results at this time. By law the Board may not certify statewide results until either the passage of the deadline for filing a recount or the completion of a recount.

The deadline for filing a recount request is Wednesday, April 20 at 5:00 p.m. The difference of 7,316 votes represents a margin of 0.488%. State law provides that a recount petition involving a margin of 0.5% or less does not require a filing fee. A request for a partial or full recount of the 2011 election for Supreme Court Justice is within that margin and would not require a filing fee. If the difference were more than 0.5% but less than 2%, the petitioning candidate would be required to pay a fee of $5 per ward involved in the recount. There are 6,906 voting wards in the state.

The margin of victory is just to big to overcome with even 2 or 3 trunks full of “suddenly found ballots”, so I doubt this goes the other way. However, considering the amount of money & effort by the unions, and the likely cheating by the left to try to close the gap, this is a huge victory for Walker and what he is doing. There might yet be hope for America if we are willing to stop these crooks from raping the tax payers of WI over a “negotiating table”.

Of course, here in CT it is starting to look like our governor lied when he said he would lay off union state workers if he couldn’t get concessions from them, and there is even tlak now that this is all a giant ruse to keep people distracted until the heavy taxe increases in his new bill go into effect. It seems like my state was the only one to actually double down on a surfire losing hand. Damn.

This is why the demcorats have been so resistive to cuts

Not because they think that these cuts will hurt anyone, well maybe their power and base, or because these cuts are bad for the American people or economy, but because it’s the government’s money anyway and they want more of it. From the start the left’s strategy has been to spend so ridiculously much money they don’t have, under whatever stupid excuse they could use to sell this idiotic plan to the people, that the only way to make up the difference was to force tax hikes on everyone. And if you doubt that’s the plan, just read the story.

President Barack Obama will lay out his plan for reducing the nation’s deficit Wednesday, belatedly entering a fight over the nation’s long-term financial future. But in addition to suggesting cuts—the current focus of debate—the White House looks set to aim its firepower on a more divisive topic: taxes. In a speech Wednesday, Mr. Obama will propose cuts to entitlement programs, including Medicare and Medicaid, and changes to Social Security, a discussion he has largely left to Democrats and Republicans in Congress. He also will call for tax increases for people making over $250,000 a year, a proposal contained in his 2012 budget, and changing parts of the tax code he thinks benefit the wealthy.

If the government confiscated all the money from the rich they could finance this charade for maybe a year. This is about the left’s plan to go after small businesses and people trying to get rich, and to thus force them to deal with whatever the powerbrokers want from them before they get the loopholes needed to stop paying the graft passed. As Obamacare and everything else in the last 2 years have proved, the left’s strategy is to straddle us all with as many ridiculous taxes or costs as they can, then give their friends and cash cows exceptions. The suckers pay morem, the ones connected to the left enhance the left’s power to avoid paying. This is more of the same in the works. The corruptocrats believe it’s their money, and they want it NOW!

The left is pretending to need hike taxes to “protect” the middle class. What a pile of shit. This is sure to force people to move their wealth into shelters and away from the grubby hands of the crooks in DC, but then again, the crooks are fine with that too. They are more interested in a large beholden class that depends on them for subsistence, than they are in actually fixing either the debt/deficit situation or the economy. With the left it is always about increasing its power and thus government, first, second, and always. Tax cuts and smaller government are anathema to them. Don’t buy this umpteenth attempt to screw us all over as anything but.

The race in WI just got really interesting

Well Kloppenberg already declared victory yesterday as Hal’s post below shows, so revelations like this one are going to be problematic.

Madison - In a political bombshell, the clerk in a Republican stronghold is set to release new vote totals giving 7,500 votes in the state Supreme Court race back toward Justice David Prosser, swinging the race significantly in his favor. The Waukesha County clerk’s office has told state elections officials that they will be adjusting the vote totals to give incumbent David Prosser more than 7,000 new votes, said Mike Haas, staff attorney for the state Government Accountability Board. “Waukesha will be adjusting their vote totals by 14,000,” Haas said the Accountability Board was told. The numbers will add some 11,000 votes for Prosser and some 3,000 for Kloppenburg, he said.

It now seems clear to me that the despite their efforts and AP’s help to inform the demcorats what they needed to push for a win, they did not manufacturing enough new ballots to push the vote. Doesn’t mean they might no find a whole bunch that have not been counted yet under some stairs or in someone’s trunk, to push Kloppenberg over the line, but this new number putting Posner over 7500 votes ahead of Kloppenberg sure shifts the picture and makes the job real hard for the donkey machine. Even more problematic are revelations like this one, which immediately should raise massive suspicion with anyone that understand how unlikely this particular set of circumstances are.

On an estimated more than 10,000 ballots in Dane County, Wisconsin, where the state capital Madison is, voters selected only a pick in the Supreme Court race, while leaving even the hotly contested mayoral and county executive choices blank. That raises red flags for election experts like Scott St. Clair of the Freedom Foundation, a conservative think tank.

Really, 10K votes, all for Kloppenberg, and all only checking that vote, while ignoring the many other hotly contested races? Sounds like the new box of uncounted votes in the car trunk/under the stairs scenario didn’t include enough made up votes. Yet? Who knows, we are talking about demcorats here.

I want a government shutdown!

Know first that the budget we are having problems with was/is the 2010 budget, not the 2011 one. Yeah, that’s when the democrats owned all 3 branches of government, with comfortable enough margins to push through whatever they wanted. They hung the costly yoke of Obamacare around the tax payer’s neck, in a practically party line vote, and then only after promising billions of dollars & oodles special exclusions and favors to other democrats that needed to be bought to get them to go along, without a problem. They didn’t even care when people pointed out how disastrous the extra spending for Obamacare would be, or how big of a job killer the government takeover of healthcare and the new taxes they plan to add to cover some of this massive spending would be. Obamacare wasn’t the only idiotic and unpopular bill they had the time to pass, nor the only stupid shit they wanted and got done. Everyone was screamed about jobs and the last thing on their minds was that. But that 2010 budget? With the elections not to far away? No freaking way!

Much ado about nothing..

Many out there on the web are going bananas about the recent Daily Caller revelation about CBS and the WaPo receiving big cash from Obamacare slush funding, and insinuating that this definitely should have been pointed out as a conflict of interest by them considering their support for it and all the positive reporting that has consistently ignore the fact this boondoggle has been sold using a lot of smoke & mirrors to pretend it will cut the deficit or improve healthcare.

Let’s quickly rehash some of thehealthcare facts they have gotten wrong. Obamacare portends to reduce the defect over the next 10 years by some $120 billion through an accounting trick that forced the CBO to come up with those numbers. If you tax people for a decade but then only offer them services for the last 5 years of that, and then pretend you can control that cost as well, you can make it look like you saved the $120 billion. But those of us that understand Obamacare will not suddenly stop offering health services for the first five years of the next decade but collect the same taxes realize the fact it will then add trillions of new debt obligations! Then you have the whole problem of throwing in some 30 million new people that will have to be paid for, and the fact that gutting Medicare – under the guise of cleaning up waste amongst all the ludicrous lies that are part & parcel of this fairy tale - and transferring that cash to Obamacare isn’t going to do much other than make it harder to follow which bureaucracy is screwing us over. In short, this thing is likely to be the final dagger the collectivist seem to want to shove into the heart of this county’s economy, likely to bring it down, and nothing more.

But I have been over this all already, am tired of repeating it, and enough Americans understand that this plan is plain bullshit, and it remains unpopular. Now we finally even have congress starting to defunding most of it, thank the lord. So let’s get back to this revelation that SeeBs and WaPo are raking in a considerable chunk of change, taxpayer dollars allocated to Obamacare, not mentioning they are doing so until caught, while reporting positively on Obamacare, and the furor it seems to be causing. Come on! These shills for the donkey machine would have done the same even if they had not been lucky enough to score some tax payer money anyway. It’s not like the WaPo or SeeBS would suddenly have come out against Obamacare, considering how beholden they are to the collectivists and their agenda, you know. At worst, what we have here is some icing on the cake from either SeeBS’s and WaPo’s perspective, and that’s about all. So what if they are getting paid to do the hack reporting job they would normally do for free?

The new face of Egypt

If ElBaradei gets elected in Egypt, he vows to go to war with Israel if it defends itself from the Gaza death cultists.

Former International Atomic Energy Agency chief Mohamed ElBaradei, who had previously announced his intetions to run for the presidency of Egypt, said Monday that “if Israel attacked Gaza we would declare war against the Zionist regime.” In an interview with the Al-Watan newspaper he said: “In case of any future Israeli attack on Gaza - as the next president of Egypt – I will open the Rafah border crossing and will consider different ways to implement the joint Arab defense agreement.” He also stated that “Israel controls Palestinian soil” adding that that “there has been no tangible breakthrough in reconciliation process because of the imbalance of power in the region - a situation that creates a kind of one way peace.”

So this guy is basically pandering to the nut jobs we were told not to worry about if Mubarak was taken out of power and is looking to garner support by promising to attack an ally with US supplied weapons. Must be the new age of “hope & change”. Of course, he could just be jaw-jawing and not really mean any of it but only saying this crap to gain support from the average idiot that believes the root of all the problems in the Arab world isn’t their dysfunctional religion and culture, but the doing of the evil Jews. Lucky for the world and those pesky Jews however, ElBaradei’s priorities are not just this war:

Discussing his agenda for Egypt, ElBaradei said that distribution of income between the different classes in Egypt would be his most important priority if he were to win the upcoming elections.

Ah, yeah. Collectivism! Because that’s worked so well everywhere else, and is doing so much good for the soft collectivist Western nations. Maybe this shit will destroy Egypt fast, and ElBaradei will then be too busy turning the Egyptian military on his own people to keep them in line, saving Israel the need to clean up the Egyptian military. It’s not like the death cult that masquerades as Palestinian people aren’t going to now read stuff like this idiotic talk by ElBaradei as a license to escalate their madness. So this means Israel will now need to deal with even more low level warfare and the continuous murder of its people - while the idiots in the UN condemn it for everything, real or as practically always is the case totally made up, and ignore these atrocities against Israelis – only now with Egyptian backing up the death cult involved. That’s all going to end well, huh?

The alternative to ElBaradei doesn’t seem much better.

ELBaradei’s main competition is Arab League Secretary General and former Egyptian Foreign Minister Amr Moussa. Last month he discussed Egypt’s relationship with Israel. “During my term in office the foreign ministry was subject to unfavorable policies from Israel with regards to the peace agreement,” Said Moussa who served as foreign minister 1991-2001,” he said.

So Obama and the wafflers made Mubarak go, and in the process, as far as we can see from the policy changes indicated by those now vying to take over, things look like Egypt is well on its way to becoming another Iran, making the comparison of Obama as the second coming of Carter, even more accurate. At least he and the team of UN/EU morons aren’t going to fuck up Libya, all while doing a half assed job, that’s still going to leave Gaddafi in power! Oh, brave new world now that we don’t have a cowboy in charge anymore…

Pile it high!

Man, does the MSM ever get tired of shilling for the losers currently running the country? Take dumb Reuters article for example that claims that the reason the Europeans are going to for the first time in over a decade push a rate hike before the US is because of a power shift. Think about this. Who was the president 10 years or more ago? Whose the president now? No, the Europeans are doing the rate hike first because the people running the US right now don’t have a clue or are trying to avoid the consequences - at the polls - of having to do the rate hike now. The problem is how mismanaged the US economy has been for the last 2 years after the lefts push to force lending to bad risks ended up causing a collapse in the lending market tied to homeownership and the fact that the people in charge have no clue. Not a shift of power. But don’t worry, reality is going to come crashing down on their fantasies regardless of how inept they are.

Remember those promises of transparent government back during the election cycle?

Well, I think we can clearly state they were bullshitting us, and doing so hard. The stories, despite the MSM’s lack of interest, are numerous and paint a frightening picture of incompetence and plain old fashioned tyrannical abuse. We have the latest revelation about how Janet Napolitano’s DHS machine has completely politicized and corrupted the FOIA request process, turning it into a political exercise as to who gets access or not, with partisan political employees attempting to steal evidence - under ridiculous pretenses nevertheless - and even tampering with the process and witnesses in an attempt to conceal their clearly objectionable partisan behavior. DHS’s response?

Liberals show their true colors

Anytime I here some leftoid demand civility and blames the right for inciting violence or being violent, I know that what we are seeing is plain old projection. Then we have the things that happen in the real world, you know the facts that one would use to make a case, that we can then look at. In the latest incidence someone shot out the windows at Washington, D.C. Republican office. Know how I know it was a lib?

Police say the vandalism occurred Tuesday night. All of the windows of the officer were damaged. The executive director of the Republican Committee says an air gun was probably used.

They didn’t even use a real gun. This stuff happens all the time, but the MSM chooses to ignore or downplay it. Fake stories about violent Tea Partiers or demcorats being attack get massive coverage. Of course, we know the accusations against the Tea Partiers are plain old bullshit when you actually look for who is committing the violence. In fact, the left even has pretend Tea Partiers to help them win elections. And when we discover that the attacks against demcorats are insider jobs done by libs hoping to gin up a leftoid’s dream story about conservative anger and violence, if we are lucky to get a correction, it is buried somewhere so the minimal amount of people see it.

Funniest part of this brief story?

Workers believe the shooting was politically related.

Ya think?

The left is pissed that their buddies in the MSM have not been able to spread their propaganda and convince people that the disasters their actions and ideology have straddled us with and are driving us towards in the not too distant future, are all actually not problematic or actually a good thing. The American people just shellacked them in the 2010 election. And more and more people are realizing that these fools are driving us off a cliff at warp speed as they continue to bungle anything and everything they do. Hope & Change has, in the biggest display of irony possible, really turned into most of us hopping we have some change left after these bozos get through ripping us all off. The left is seeing all those fantasies of socialism winning out and dominating the next 2 or 3 generations they bandied about after the 2008 election, go up in smoke in but a short 2 years of them having power. And it drives them bananas. Expect many more angry bb gun attacks. They mean business!

No shame reporting on inflation

The usual suspects in the MSM are at it again. In this case Yahoo reports that inflation is spiking. Food prices are up because the cost of energy, whatever that entails, is up. If it wasn’t for those stupid energy costs everything would be fine too! Seriously:

WASHINGTON (AP)—Wholesale prices jumped last month by the most in nearly two years due to higher energy costs and the steepest rise in food prices in 36 years. Excluding those volatile categories, inflation was tame.

Booooiiinnnggg!

It is done. The donkeys lose their attempt to keep their biggest donor flush with tax payer cash. The winners? The tax payers of Wisconsin, and the people of every other state where we will soon see similar actions to curtail the massive debt the lavish benefits and pay for public union members are costing the tax payers as state governments realize they have to end the gravy train or face dire financial consequences, Not to mention pain at the ballet box from citizens that are pissed they are being robbed by demcorats and their big donor buddies. Even the public union members that now will have the option to not pay the unions the ridiculous dues are winners. Here is the biased AP language:

MADISON, Wis. (AP)—At least two dozen protesters spent the night just outside the Wisconsin state Assembly chamber in anticipation of a late Thursday morning vote on explosive union rights legislation that passed the Senate after Republicans outmaneuvered their missing Democratic counterparts and pushed through the bill.

The extraordinary turn of events late Wednesday set up Thursday’s perfunctory vote on the measure that would strip nearly all collective bargaining rights from most public workers. Once the bill passes the Assembly, it heads to Republican Gov. Scott Walker for his signature.

About time! It is pathetic how these crooks were able to hold the state hostage, cost it $165 million in extra expenditures that could only be balanced by removing 1500 from the pay rolls – and if unions so cared about their employees, they sure as hell wouldn’t be allowing this massive layoff if there was an alternative, but as we have repeatedly mentioned, this is about the union bosses making huge money while using elected demcorats to rob the state’s tax payers in return for big campaign contributions – and in general showed us that the left only wants civility if it shuts up the other side. And while this AP piece sure shows the angry biased left’s opinion, without emphasizing the fact that the state of Wisconsin was on its way to join other such liberal paradises run by the democrats and their public union buddies in massive deficit woes and then likely bankruptcy as what forced the governor’s hand, we have the following:

The bill had been stymied after all 14 Senate Democrats fled to Illinois three weeks ago, preventing the chamber from having enough members present to pass it. Walker introduced it to plug a $137 million budget shortfall. The Senate requires a quorum of 20 to take up any measures that spend money. But a special committee of lawmakers from the Senate and Assembly voted late Wednesday afternoon to take all the spending measures out of the legislation and the Senate approved it minutes later, 18-1.

It is far more than a measly $137 billion, which only applies to this fiscal year, but is used to confound the issue and lead people to believe there is no fiscal problem. But those of us that don’t restrict our information to DNC talking points, know that next year that deficit jumps to some $3 trillion plus. Anyway, the cowardly demcorats ran away and spit in the face of the democratic process. Funny how liberals only seem to love democracy when it suits them, and otherwise they pine for government like that of China as we have often heard them comment when it doesn’t huh? This was done to buy time and allow the massive DNC propaganda apparatus to confound people with bullshit, so they could then make Walker back down. And that was, contrary to the lies that they are fighting for the rights of the middle class or the public union employees, specifically to prevent Walker from getting what he wanted so they could keep their union buddies flush in tax payer cash and in turn reap the huge campaign contributions this brings them. You can’t get lower than that IMO. Luckily Walker stood strong, and they found a way to pass this bill and stop the tax payers from making the union bosses and their democrat buddies rich. So it is no surprise that their defense of this practice was to say:

“Scott Walker and the Republicans’ ideological war on the middle class and working families is now indisputable,” Neuenfeldt said.

Yeah sure. You collectivists and your public union buddies are robbing the tax payers, and doubly so the union members that are forced to pay out a huge chunk of their paycheck to the unions to keep the bosses living large and donating large to demcorats, but the people waging warfare are those that want to end that? Heh! Bizzaro world. Even though you will not hear the MSM or DNC say so, the people won this one.
