Speaking His Mind
by Lee

See if you can guess which Democrat leader said this just in time for the election.

• The U.S. has failed in Iraq and animosity in the Arab world against Washington should not be blamed on Islamic extremism;
• “Afghanistan is a failure ... In Iraq, there is clear failure on the security, military and political levels ... Who shoulders responsibility? It’s the Bush administration”;
• Bush’s plans for the region face “failure, frustration and a state of collapse”;
• “The United States will leave the Middle East just as we left Vietnam, and I advise the administration to draw conclusion from the Vietnam experience.”

Kerry?  Murtha?  Pelosi?  Nope, it was Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah, demonstrating to the world once again that Democrat boilerplate is virtually indistinguishable from terrorist propaganda.  (Quoted text slightly altered.)

Uh, the last 3 of your points are the same things you post here just about every other day, Leehammed.

And the first point isn’t 100% true, but to say that we’re under so much more flak now, than say, decades ago probably has as much to do with US policy as it does with the rise of extremist muslim nationalism.

Someone should piece together clips from terrorist videos and from Democratic speeches, alternating between the two, to highlight how similar their thinking actually is.

Really Lee, a lot of that stuff up there sounds like stuff you would say.  Does that mean you’re a Democrat now?

While Islamic extremism is a major source of animosity against the US – I think upwards of 600,00 dead Iraqi civilians could also play into it.

Afghanistan is 95% under the control of the Taliban again, the poppy fields are flourishing and women are in burkas once more, Kabul was the only part of the country that was ever under any semblance of coalition control to start with and now that is breaking down thanks to the cut and run tactics of this administration there - it’s got to the point where the US is relinquishing control of its troops to foreign leadership. How does this rate as a success?

Bush’s plans sure do look like they have a better chance for failure right now – wouldn’t you agree?

And, if the US doesn’t change tactics we will be leaving just like we did in Vietnam.

Just because facts are stated by two groups – does it mean the two groups hold the same ideology – in that case, if I could find a person who gets their kicks out of sodomizing dogs who also thinks John Kerry’s statement today was scandalous – well then I could make the same case that all the folks speaking out against him are of the same moral turpitude.

If Muslims are killing Muslims by the dozens, then all can’t be bad.

Divide et Impera.  That’s what the Romans learned.  It’s what we must know and use with the Muslims.  IF they killing each other due to their Allah turf wars, the better for us!  All we have to do is work with the Kurds, keep the oil fields in tact, kill anyone who approaches us in the deserts around the oil fields and pipelines.  That’s all that is necessary.

It’s just another night in South Central.

And, no, LOVE does NOT make the world go ‘round.  Oil does.

Speaking of rseponding to idiots, the video of Bush’s response to Kerry’s remarks is now available at YouTube.

So Right wing Donn if that’s your view why weren’t you advocating that sanctions should be removed under Saddam, if muslim deaths don’t concern you then what possible reason do you have to support sanctions? This would of lowered oil prices and allowed secure access to Iraqi oil reserves and also would of meant that the thousands of coalition forces who have died would still be alive while not spending a dime on invading and occupying the country.

By promoting an Iraqi “turf war” do you actually think that stability in Iraq will be beneficial to the U.S? Well you’r obviously disagreeing with the administration who rightly in my view see that Iraqi security is in the wests long term interest.

At the risk of opening a can of wriggling worms, isn’t this a good reason to keep the Dems out of power (their thinking parallels that of our enemies)?

John Kerry is under the control of the Rovian Orbital Mind Control Lasers.  I have proof.
