Right Thinking From The Left Coast
You will never live if you are looking for the meaning of life - Albert Camus

The left knows they have lost this battle

And the most obvious reason, other than the polls showing people are against these pampered union agitators that want the private sector employees to keep paying their lavish bennies and salaries for them while barely able to pay for their own, is the fact that the WH has decided to throw the DNC and the unions under the bus.

Administration officials said Sunday that the White House had done nothing to encourage the demonstrations in Wisconsin — nor was it doing so in Ohio, Florida and other states where new Republican governors are trying to make deep cuts to balance their budgets.

LOL! Yeah, right. The WH smells the charred remains of the “Crash & burn” collectivist cadre, and it is trying to save itself by pretending there is a distance between them. Nobody is buying that crap. And the longer this drags out, the better for the American people. People are seeing who the greedy SOBs are. And through the lies about how the left cares about people or the children. Americans are realizing these craven bastards really only care about their pockets and their ability to buy favors from democrats in return for massive donations.

This is basically the left’s power brokers finding themselves in the spotlight, and the American people realizing how bad they have been had. And the WH has seen the polls and is now looking to save face. Another one bites the dust.

Really? Last month in his Tuscon speech Obama called on all of us to honor the victims with a “more civil and honest public discourse”, a noble gesture indeed, and something we should aspire to..........unless we are fat overpaid teachers in Wisconsin who fraud the state by abusing sick days, who fashion protest signs depicting the governor as Hitler or Stalin, who use colorful slogans like “Don’t retreat, reload” and “Quit trying to rape me” and who mob the streets adjacent to the governors house so that poor Mrs. governor can’t even drive to the store.

By publicly looking away and not recognizing (chastising) all the nastiness goings on in the cheese state the people have no doubt where his sympathies lie.

As president, what’s going on in Wisconsin isn’t any of his business.  The office is above the petty squabbles of state budgets and every time he injects himself into state-level politics he shows that he doesn’t really know what the hell he’s doing as president.

Except that he does inject himself in state issues, the Arizona/immigration fight was a classic example. When asked about the Wisconsin fight he has no problem hammering Gov. Walker for overstepping his powers in curtailing collective bargaining (his opinion), since he can’t help himself from talking about it, how about reiterating some of that Tuscon sentiment.

1) He has a staff that, in theory, should be telling him to STFU when his agitator leanings come out

2) Nothing said at Tucson was actually meant to be taken seriously - it was all posturing

Even if I were to grant that, it is obvious that they can’t compete with the machine the demcorats put together, Mike. If they could, the demcorats would not completely and totally own the public unions and conversely be owned by them. But you can keep pretendign there is a parallel if it helps you sleep.

Alex I hope you’re correct and if you are it would appear Mitch Daniels the (R) governor of Indiana not only disagrees, but may no longer want the republican nomination next year either.

And I would have thought this was was a ‘time to strike while the iron was hot’ moment.

Not right time?

Please, Is that “machine” what helped the Dems lose 60 seats in the house?
