Kloppenburg … Wins?

After weeks of a fairly nasty campaign, JoAnne Kloppenburg is declaring victory, currently leading the count by 204 votes out of early 1.4 million cast in the most contested judicial election I’ve ever heard of.  This is, supposedly, a referendum on Governor Walker’s evil union busting.

Here’s the thing.  The passion on the Left on Wisconsin is about as intense as it could be right now.  And they’ve managed to barely win a judicial election that probably won’t have any effect on the new anti-union law.  THeir efforts to recall a bunch of Republicans have stalled, with only one potentially facing a recall election in a very safe district.

If this is the peak of the people’s revolution, I’m not terrificly worried.
