Who Is John Galt?

Like many conservative/libertarians, I found Ayn Rand’s writing fascinating.  I don’t think they add up to a workable economic or personal philosophy—human beings and reality are a little too nebulous to be guided by any set of ironclad ideas.  Rand’s objectivism is, in its way, as dogmatic and inflexible as the communism she risked her life to escape (and she found, in her own life, she could not live up to her own ideas).  But as a cry against collectivism and for exceptionalism, they should be required reading.

I have no idea if this movie will be any good or not.  Apparently, it’s the first part of a trilogy.  But I’m betting it will be better than all the films of Michael Moore put together with An Inconvenient Truth.
